Announcing Atrex 13
Millennium Software is proud to announce the release of Atrex version 13. Atrex 13 continues to expand on the features, ease of use, and stability of earlier versions to give you the most powerful Atrex ever.
New Features
Atrex 13 is the result of over 2 years of development. Over 100 enhancements and new features went into the release, a majority of which were user requested features. Some of the changes included in Atrex 13 to make your business more efficient include:
- Scheduling capabilities for Atrex user IDs, Service Orders, Customers, and Vendors with user specific popup reminders.
- Atrex is now fully PCI compliant with regards to credit card information storage within the database.
- Signature capture for credit cards, invoices, and service orders is now available using Topaz T-L460-HSB or T-LBK460-HSB LCD signature capture devices.
- User defined fields and sizes are now available. Custom fields can be added to the customer, vendor, and stock code windows, and the sizes of most global field sizes used for items such as stock codes, customer names, serial numbers, can be increased.
- Search filters can now be saved and reused directly from the selection windows. If you repeatedly perform the same filtered searches, this will save you a significant amount of time.
- Open service orders will now allow for the direct entry of quantities without serial numbers on service orders to allow for more accurate reorder reports.
- Document storage (i.e., PDF files) on customer records.
- A "Contacts" tab for storing additional customer contacts, phone numbers and email addresses on customer records.
- Customers can be set to receive statements by email.
- Improved client/server performance, especially when accessing the data across a wide area network.
Atrex 13 Requirements
- Windows 2003, 2008, XP, Vista, or Windows 7.
- 50 Meg hard drive space
- 250MB Free RAM after loading OS
- Inkjet or LaserJet Printer Recommended
- Atrex is designed for use with a screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher.

Atrex 13 uses a print engine named Report Builder. This print engine is built directly into the main Atrex program to provide more reliable and faster printing, as well as includes the actual report designer to allow for end user modification of reports without the need to purchase additional software.
Custom reports designed for use with Atrex 10 and earlier will not work with Atrex 13. Custom crytsal report formats from Atrex 10 and earlier will need to be recreated and redesigned using Report Builder in order to be compatible with Atrex 13.
Due to the costs and complexities involved in supporting multiple versions of the same program, it has become necessary to discontinue full support for versions of Atrex prior to 11.00. While you may still request help for general questions on older versions, there will be a charge for this support. Please be aware that extensive support, program updates, or bug corrections are NOT available for non-current versions
Technical support for versions earlier than 12.00, and for 12.0x users outside of the free technical support period is $49.00 U.S. per incident. This fee is due at the time service is rendered.
