versatalis error

versatalis error
ok, finally got this, installed it, tried a test charge, get the following:

net connect error 507 http client error 412 please contact software provider

i'm assuming that's you.  my guess is either our firewall settings if it uses a particular port or maybe we downloaded a newer rev of the cc software than our atrex rev, which is 12.03.

which way from here, boss?

um, a follow up:  the receipt we currently print (report sls5602 - invoice for sp200 series) doesn't have a line for a customer signature.  is there a report that does or did it and i modified/deleted it or does it after we actually get one processed with the versatalis add on or...?  i'm thinking i gotta get customer signatures on these things.   :)

net connect error 507 http client error 412 please contact software provider

This is usually a configuration error, such as a typo in the setup information for the payment processing.  Try re-entering the config information (client number, password, etc) that was provided to you by Versatalis and you should be good to go.  Also, if you are running Vista, you need to start Atrex as an administrator or it won't be able to write the config information to the registry.

The standard format has a signature line, unless someone there has modified the report to remove it.  You can enable it via "Options - Customization/Setup - Default Values".  I believe it's the third or fourth option down on the left.

well, tried re-entering versatalis credentials a couple times, different cards, reinstalling, hand entering, checked the swiper in notepad...  same error.  not vista.  logged in as me who is king of everything.  what should i try now?

At this point, give Versatalis a call and make sure that the account got activated on thier side.  If I remember correctly, the 412 error means that the merchant account information isn't found at the processing end.

Thanks for the call. Terry you were right there was an error in the coding. This issue is now resolved. Remember if this happens most often there is a typo or error in the coding. Just give me a call to go over the coding on the phone.
