Customer Service updates

Hi,

We are recently finding that many of our phone calls are customer requesting Service updates.

Is there a way that when we update the service status within Atrex it could email out the Status.

Or is there a way that we could have some other software running that monitors the service status and sends out an email when it notices achange.

There is no automated method for doing this in Atrex.  Procedurally, you can have the person updating your SOs to reprint to Email or Email and Printer when editing the SO is complete.
 
It is possible to have an application that monitors the current status and periodically compares that with a saved value.  The field in Atrex is so.Status.

FWIW, I have been working on a web-based SO status screen where a customer can type in the service order number and view the service order.

Of course this doesn't help the people whos' computer is in the shop :p
