E-mail Question
Terry & Mark,

When we use Atrex to send an e-mail, does it save a copy? We use Outlook Express for our office e-mail, and it saves a copy in the "Sent Items" folder, as I'm sure you're aware. Does Atrex do similar, or is there a way to get it to use the Sent Items folder in Outlook? Should we switch to Thunderbird, or some other compatible program, or do we just lose that copy? I suppose I could just get everyone to BCC themsleves, but I doubt that would catch.

Thanks,

GGreen

One of the options for setting up your email is "Send via default MAPI client" and if you choose this, Atrex drops the email into Outlook Express.

Re: E-mail Question
Ok, we've tried a few test e-mail from within Atrex, and none of them show up in the "Sent Items" folder. Does it store them separately, in a different identity, or in the default Main Identity, rather than the User identity? Seems Microsoft is just trying to make things hard for me.

When you send the email, do you see an Atrex message "The email has been successfully sent."?  If so you are set up to send via SMTP rather than MAPI.  If you are set to send via MAPI, Outlook Express by default prompts you as to whether to allow the Atrex email to be sent.  If you see this, Atrex and Outlook Express are talking fine and the absence of the email in your sent folder will be an Outlook issue and beyond anything that we can assist you in resolving.
