SERVICE Balance due not showing up

SERVICE Balance due not showing up
I have a SERVICE customer who paid $280 towards a $417 bill.
I needed to close this service order so I could pay my technician.
So I Completed the SO and applied the partial payment.

When I look under "Accounts" "Receivables" "Balance Due" it says $0

Why isn't the payment showing up and the balance due recorded?
When I edit the SO it shows up with the payment in the payments box.
When I look at the Service Sales Tax Report the transaction is not there either.
When I go to the Undo Facility the transaction is there.

The Balance in Undo is Correct.

Sorry about the delay on this.  I accidentally marked it as replied so it fell off my radar.

One last thing to check that will tell me how to resolve this for you.   Run the following query in the "Reports - SQL Query" window and tell me if any rows are returned.

select * from ar where sequencenumber = 0

If there are no rows, I'll have you send me a backup as there is no clear indication as to why it's not showing up.  If there are rows with a sequence number of zero, I'll get you a SQL script that should resolve the issue for you.

Download and install 13.20 from our web site, if you are not already running that version.  Make a backup, and then run the Batch Processing with the default  options.

I'll be sending you a email with further instructions on how to clean up the rows with a zero sequence number.

We were at .14 so I backed up, upgraded and ran batch processing.  Still 519 rows.

We were at .14 so I backed up, upgraded and ran batch processing.  Still 519 rows.

I didn't expect it to change with the batch processing.  The actual cleanup is done by a separate SQL query.  I've sent that to you by private email and you should see it within the next few minutes.
