Change Date format on v12

Hi,

I am setting up Atrex on our laptop and cannot remember how to change the date format to be day/month/year.
I have looked through all the menus but cannot find it. Probably being blind.

Can you please help.

Atrex uses the date format set in Windows.  You can change the date format via the Windows control panel regional settings function.

Re: Change Date format on v12

Hi checked everything on this laptop and it all set for UK, english yet Atrex still has the date in the wrong format for us.

Any other ideas?

Re: Change Date format on v12

Could it be when Atrex was installed if the computer was set to American settings that Atrex has defaulted to that and changing the regional setting now wont change Atrex?

Nope.  It reads the settings on startup.

But this issue is a known issue with Windows 7 and a large number of applications.

If you open "Regional and Language Options" from the control panel (the globe icon) / intl.cpl, and reselect your locale it will likely solve the problem.

1) Open Regional and Language Options

2) Under "Format" pick anything other than what it is currently set to.  You MUST select something other than the current selection or Windows will not save the changed settings properly.

3) Press "Apply"

4) Under "Format" pick the desired locale for your location.

5) Press OK.

That should allow Atrex to read the Windows settings.

It is pretty stupid and I’m surprised the Microsoft has not fixed this issue yet, but until they do it’s just one more support thing that we have to deal with every once in a while.  In any case, I’m g
lad to hear that it worked for you.
