Service Warranty
SORRY IF THIS IS A RE-POST  I WAITED AN HOUR AND DIDN'T SEE IT IN THE LIST.

In the Reports>Service>Technician Sales report

We use this report to calculate pay for our technicians.

When a customer brings their product back in because the tech missed
something and we need to do a "Come Back" or "Rework" we need to debit the
techs hours for the additional time.  Or we need to be able to create a
service order that does not give the tech credit for comebacks.

I thought about creating a technician name called Warranty, but really want
to be able to track what each tech does, good or bad.

Clicking the "Warranty" checkbox on the job prevents ANY charges on the bill
even if we use billable parts on the order, and the Tech is credited for the
hours performed.

Any Ideas?

Use a labour rate of zero and a negative number of hours.

Re: Service Warranty
That doesn't work for us either.  Putting the -1, -2 etc in for time on come backs then debits the total hours in the report.  Some of the techs run 40 - 60 jobs in a week, and we would have to hunt them out and not deduct the negative hours from the good hours.

Need to have the come back hours not tabulated on the report.  another bullet box when the report starts like the warranty job button.  and another option on the work order for "come backs"

Thanks

Perform the come back hours as a warranty job separate from any parts.
